SPRING FLOWERs in full glory

Spring has gotten off to a slower start than usual this year. Cooler temperatures delayed some of my seasonal favorites from blooming by a few weeks. I can often tell by looking at  older photographs of the same flowers and the dates they were taken. With that said, it has been a lovely season weather wise, and I've been quite busy the last few months adding to the collection. My newest camera enables me to provide much larger prints, something many customers have requested.

WEBSITE REDESIGN DELAYS

I recently upgraded my camera, computer and imaging software which has meant changes to the way I do just about everything related to photography. It's been a welcome transition but has also delayed the changes that I intended to make to the galleries and shopping system. I'm currently splitting my time between taking new photos, creating a photo database to help locate thousands of images, and putting together new galleries to showcase my work. It's hard to say when all the improvements will be completed, but do check often!

Several of my photographs were on exhibit at The Morris Arboretum last year. Two photos  "Rays and Stripes" and "The Secret Staircase" received Honorable Mention in both the Garden & Detail categories. To view the images on display, click here

Chinese Peonies

Last spring I was honored by having a collection of my Chinese Peony photographs displayed at the University of New Mexico-Gallup. The college held a fund-raiser to help raise money for their diverse educational programs.

Situated near the Navajo, Zuni and Hopi Reservations, UNM has the largest Native American student body of any public university in the world. Located in Gallup New Mexico the adobe style facilities sit among the the beautiful southwest red rock. The peonies photos were surely given a breathtaking backdrop!
